Employees are a business’s best asset, but they can also carry a business’s highest risk. Employees are human and have good days and bad days. Sometimes those bad days can turn into weeks or months and can wreak havoc on company culture and erode trust, communication and morale. Employees that bring personal issues into the office or struggle to deal with work-related issues are often seen as distracting, a time-suck, or not worth the effort. But it’s a myth that difficult employees aren’t good at their jobs; they can be very good at what they do, they just need a little course correction to help them reach their potential.
